The retreat has a 3 bedroom, self contained spacious, log cabin style homestead, 2 fully self-contained cabins (1 & 2 brm’s) and a well appointed Multi-function Room (capacity approx 70 people) near the homestead for separate hire.

Gunyah House

The Retreat has a 3 bedroom self-contained spacious log style homestead with fully equipped kitchen, laundry and second bathroom with shower and bath, very large lounge room with fireplace, floor heating throughout the home, fans and Air-conditioning.
The bedrooms comprise of: King bedroom with en-suite, Queen bedroom opposite main bathroom, Two single beds in third room, Two extra single beds in Lounge room.

Gunyah Cabins

Cabin 1 (1 Bedroom Cabin) $140/night

These are our standard rates during the year, for special weekends and events eg easter and long weekends a surcharge may apply. Discounts are available for groups and extended stays.

Gunyah Multi-function room

Also, near the house is a fully equipped large multi-function room that has a kitchen area with Tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, microwave, air-conditioning, Audio/visual equip’ and seating suitable for large groups up to 70 people. It has its own toilet facilities and can be booked separately from the House. Rates available in inquiry.

Bookings & Payments

All bookings must be secured within the arranged time frame with full payment. Payment to be made into bank account details as provided on confirmation email. Tariffs quoted are effective as from 1st January 2019 and are subject to change without notice.

Cancel & Refunds

Cancellations received at any time can incur a charge of $27.50 Cancellations within 7 days of check-in date will incur a 50% cancellation fee. All bookings cancelled within 48hrs of check-in receive no refund.

Elwood House B&B is located in Golden Square, in a quiet street only 2.7km from the CBD and close to a major supermarket and walking distance to Bendigo Stadium.
